Our paper on the development of methanol synthesis catalysts has been accepted for publication in Applied Catalysis A. This work is a collaboration with The University of Osaka and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (Taiwan), based on the undergraduate research of Mr. Mori (M2) and Mr. Shigeta (M1). 東京大学の伊與木先生に当研究室を訪問いただきました。CO2有価物変換触媒に関して、ディスカッションを行いました。
The joint Chemical Engineering team narrowly lost their semifinal softball game (6–7) against the Polymer Chemistry Laboratory — a great effort!
We were also pleased to welcome Professor Iyoki from the University of Tokyo, who visited our laboratory. We had a fruitful discussion on catalysts for CO₂ conversion into valuable chemicals.

Our research on CO2 methanation using biogas as a carbon source has been accepted for publication in The Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering. This work is a result of international collaboration with Osaka University and the Poornaprajna Institute of Scientific Research (India). The study was primarily led by Dr. Enjamuri (former research fellow) and Nishikawa-san (M2). Congratulations!

A paper on the oxidative coupling reaction of arylboronic acids using solid Cu catalysts has been accepted for publication in the Royal Society of Chemistry’s journal, Catalysis Science & Technology. This work is a collaborative research effort with Univ. Shizuoka, Ehime Univ., JASRI, Hokkaido Univ., and Osaka Univ.. Our lab’s M1 student, Mr. Mori, also participated in this research.
