Division of Applied Chemistry, Graduate School of Engineering
CSE group is dedicated to developing efficient energy and material conversion systems for a future zero-carbon society. We research materials and devices needed for these systems. Our work includes studying energy carriers such as hydrogen, ammonia, and methane to make the most of renewable energy, as well as researching efficient power generation and material conversion from these carriers. Additionally, we focus on synthesizing valuable substances like fuels and chemical raw materials from CO2 and hydrogen using solid catalysts to reduce CO2 emissions and promote the recycling of carbon resources.
